Praise for Craig Zerf …
“What a ride! Best series I've read in years.”
“This is a finely tuned action fantasy that will be appreciated by all lovers of the genre. Exciting, thought provoking and darn good fun. Recommended most highly.”
“Absolutely one of the most engrossing stories I have ever read. Started out just like every dystopian TEOTWAWKI story but then it takes a sharp left turn into fantasy and it just keeps getting better. I purchased ALL of the series before I started and I'm glad I did because I had to start the next one as soon as I finished one. Wonderful cast of characters. I can't recommend this series enough.”
“Highly recommended. I've read the entire series and loved them all. Loved them so much that I've started over and I'm reading the entire series again from the beginning.”
“This is a fabulous find! An excellent rendering of dystopian and myth woven together into a grand sweeping story. A Marine stranded in England, who is honorable, fair and humane. Read it, tis grand.”
“Craig Zerf has written an engrossing story that will keep you reading as fast as you can.”
The Forever Man 2 Book 2 Axeman Craig Zerf Books
So far the first and then the second books have made me want to keep going to find out what happens next. Good over all concept not to mention you have a devil dog as the main protagonist. That being said, and the fact that I am a retired master gunny, having your master gunny at age 28 being the youngest to ever be one, is a bit unrealistic as it is a rank in normal time would take even the best of marines, 25 to 30 years to reach. Even under special circumstances, I think making Nate closer to 38 and then saying he was the youngest ever, would of been more in line, but I am nitpicking other than that this is a very good read.Product details

The Forever Man 2 Book 2 Axeman Craig Zerf Books Reviews
I like the continuation story of book 2 from book 1 and the new characters that Craig introduces and how each plays out. Good read.
Just started this second book in the series. Story moves along smoothly and keeps the reader engaged. Characters are not politically correct which is a big plus for me.
Great follow-up to first book, which can the killer in a series. Love the unique mix of present day warriors and technology with with tried and true Tolkien imagery. Recommend to all hard core Science fiction readers. Downloading book three now.
In this book we see Nathaniel still moving northward toward what he feels is his destiny. As he travels he encounters many new people trying to survive and some people trying to kill him. A lively story. Can’t wait to get the next book in the series.
If you haven't read the first book, start there. Following Nathanial never gets boring. He truly is a hero and the fantasy mixed in with the world collapse just opens the story to unlimited scenarios that keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. I can't recommend this series enough. I read all 6 books one right after the other. Amazing story!!
I enjoyed the first (free) book of the series pretty much, reading it in three evenings. It is fast paced, easily readable; and left me wanting more. I waited about a week before spending $3.99 for a couple hours reading with book two, wondering it would be as easily and pleasantly spent.
It was. I read it in one afternoon and evening and immediately bought book three.
I just finished this one and hope the next one is already out so I don't have to wait. So Nathaniel continues his journey north and the Fair Folk are spreading out. Nathaniel reminds me of the Gunslinger from the tower series only I like him more. Mate just keeps plugging on righting what wrongs he can. But he's not a flashy hero more like a reluctant one.
